Roles and Responsibilities
- To provide functional support to internal departments, Litigation Management, Protect of Company's trademarks & IPRs, Lease and Contract Management, Compliance with regulatory bodies etc.
- Advice, support, draft, formats, notices as may be required.Legalsupport for recovery of bad debts throughlegalproceedings for branch expansion, Lease draft vetting and registration,SLA Vetting.
- Legalreview and inputs to new loan product manuals, Loan documentation etc.
- Legalmeasures for recovery of staff defaulted accounts, notices,Legalactions against the cases of misappropriation of Company money, etc.
- Updating status on litigation, Trademark and IP rights etc. Company's real estate matters etc.
- Out of court settlement of recovery matters wherever possible with approval of internal authority.
- Exposure to credit initiation related aspects (loan agreement, sanction letter, covenants,lbegalreview pre-disbursement) or collection related aspects (DRT,SARFAESI,S 138, Cr P C).
Desired Candidate Profile
Education Qualification: Degree in Law and Master Degree is an added advantage
Domain Knowledge: Deep knowledge in Civil & Criminal laws in relation financial aspects recovery, fraud, Arbitration including on corporate laws
Preferably 6 to 8 years of experience in litigation management, Contract Management, banking sector & financial sector
