Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

a. Sheetmetal design,– GI and Aluzinc parts
b. Plastic parts design
c. Heat sink design, simulation and modelling
d. Structural analysis
e. Tolerance stack-up analysis
f. Air flow and thermal analysis
g. Cable and fasteners selection
h. Software experience – Solidworks / CREO, EPDM

Skills:
1. Mechanical design and development of different power electronics product like AC drive, Softstarters etc.
2. Develops concept, drawings (2D and 3D), prototypes and validates them (functionally and thermally) through testing.

Key Questions:

  • 1. Have you independently developed mechanical designing for an industrial product? Give examples of few products you have worked on?
  • 2. What are the software packages you have worked upon? Name a few.
  • 3. Have done any thermal analysis for any of your product? Was any actual type testing involved invalidation?
  • 4. Have you worked on sheet metal design and plastic part design?
